There is a new director of bands. I was hoping for an improved band. Unfortunately, so far, nothing has changed. The band is just very lazy, playing the same eight bars of the same songs after each down. The songs create ear worms that I just can't get out of my head. I'm seriously considering wearing earplugs, so I don't have to listen to them. For me, it's a huge part of what makes for a poorin-game experience.

I used to organize the party in the super dome for the Tulane game. Can’t tell you how frustrating it is to work with the alumni association. Nice people, but we don’t do that here on everything. I guess the band director is told that too.

You organized THE best pre-game and post-game tailgating party vs. Tulane in the Superdome. I believe that was in 1995. We beat Tulane 32-28 scoring a TD on a 4th & 4 to win the game.
