We can hire outsiders, who embrace the local culture. We did this with Dr. Maggard, Nic Yantko, and Coach Hud. We need the nation’s best to move this train.
Food cookoffs. Sponsors provide the food, tailgaters cook it, and people judge.

What percentage of Acadiana would you all say truly "embraces" Cajun culture? And what does that really look like?
I have my opinion but would like to hear what others have to say.
Through neglect from community leaders (business/governemnt/education/religious) and the general population, I would say that Cajun Culture is truly embraced by about 10-20% of the Acadiana population.
I've lived several decades on this earth. The thing that breaks my heart the most has been the abandonment of our heritrage/history/culture by those who were responsible for protecting/promoting it.
