He had no choice as CUSA was their only conference option. As I recall, they had better scheduling as an Independent.

More cusa games tonight. I feel like cusa going to this midweek scheduling gives that crappy conference the best chance at relevance. Although it’s terrible football when it’s the only game on I’m usually watching. I’ll be flipping between Astros and possibly the worst game of the year(fiu utep) then some NMSU SH for a night cap to fall asleep too. Took a trip to las cruces about 10 years ago. Cajuns whooped em and the golf course we played was awesome. Cool stadium beautiful area.
