    True.

The more I think about it, if Hud came back in a different capacity even with all his people skills he would just be a caricature of himself.

What he did the first time, (example: Helicopter drop in at high scholl football games) was so organic and he had such command of the media (nation wide) it could never be duplicated.

But, other than Mack Brown (he actually resigned I think) and North Carolina, I cannot think of another Coach that was let go from one school and rehired by that same school several years later. Does anyone here know of that scenario taking place somewhere?
Not quite about Mack Brown. He was hired by Texas after being very successful at UNC the first time.

He is perfect for that position!! He is a natural salesman! Sometimes that doesn’t always translate into running a great football team!

We need that cheerleader and that can do attitude and that dude has it!!!

Look if I am looking for a salesman I want a man with confidence. HUD is your man if you looking for a man with confidence !
Des should try to hire him as his OC/recruiting coordinator. Give the man who resurrected UL football a second (or 3rd) chance in college ball.

I'm a hard no on that.

MH hired Baldwin for all the wrong reasons.

I would give Bustle the credit as the man who resurrected UL football. Did you see the condition this program was in when he took over? He left Hud lots of talent.

But they got their governor so it was a success all the way around. Unfortunately it just set our program back about 20 years. I often wonder where we’d be if they would have hired Blakney or Culley back then.

The second position posted only requires 2 years experience? Seems the position is too high, as a deputy or associate, for such little exp.

If the goal is RCAF complete separation, by definition someone applying for a government job without separation, will not be very likely to lead any successful separation effort

Political hires are still done to get problems away from TSAB. WW wasn’t just about McLeast. It got WW and TSAB somewhat detached in the media, remove the stench so to speak.

MH had pulled the plug on funding the program before Baldwin was hired. It's the reason Stokley got burned out

1-10 and 2-9 the 2 seasons before Baldwin was hired

Blakely and Culley would have no doubt been better hires but the program was already shakey when Baldwin started
