How do we know if Hud might want to someday be an AD and stop coaching. Here is his opportunity to be an Associate AD, head up fundraising for RCAF, and if our current AD ever leaves, move into that position. He would have to make more money than a HS coach and can be given financial incentives for increasing fan excitement, attendance, revenue, and our athletic profile nationally. With a new stadium on the horizon, now would be the perfect time to start, or start once he finishes coaching this season.
Why do we keep bringing in outsiders when we have someone who has the knowledge base and name recognition that Hud has and a proven record of achievement in this area? And, from what I read, his family loves Lafayette. We will never know unless we ask.
This is the current opening at UL as posted on another thread. Should someone contact Hud and gage his interest?

Here's his email...go for it...mhudspeth@gsboe.org
I would financially support Hudspeth returning to UL in fundraising. He addressed his past mistakes on Ragin Review and admitted he was too focused on fundraising then coaching. He’s proven to raise funds and have them materialize with the APC among other things. Let’s go get Hud!
. . . some would say the future is no longer foreseeable . . .
