I would love to see Hud in that #2 AD role outlined. Forgive the past.....look forward. He was very honest and contrite in his interview with Ragin' Review crew last year. His ramp up to full speed would be by far better than anyone not familiar with the Lafayette region business community.

I was not a fan for his last two seasons here. He peaked, plateaued, then sank. He was great his first 2-3 years. Then add the locker room crap, the private life stuff, and other things mentioned on this board, and it was time to GO -- as COACH. But if Auburn can hire Hugh Freeze, UCF- George Whats-His-Name (ND resume fraud), and others, WE can hire Hud to do this IF IT BENEFITS UL -- and it does!
Although there are those who will not think this way, they are the same Admin types who would rater cut off their noses to spite their faces....

Unfortunately? No when people are paying attention to what the politics are doing that is a fortunate thing. People are waking up and finally starting to hold politicians accountable for the criminals they have been for years.

What is unfortunate is Huds little head has a tendency to think for his big head and he will never work for this university again.

Absolutely, its always good to be informed and hold officials accountable, wasnt really what i meant.

Reading some of the comments on this thread makes me realize that the Cajun Nation has some real bone-head people in it.

Look at what he did, he got the fanbase up at UL. He was able to bring the money in for stadium expansion, the indoor practice facility, RCAF. Let’s focus on the facts.

He had football players going to different high schools! He had players helping people cutting trees repairing houses after hurricanes. Man he was in the community as a coach.

All the bad stuff that happen as a coach was him being the coach.

He would be strictly an administrator.
