What is this crap of a morning show coming from north Louisiana this is beyond ridiculous. Please bring the great Scott show back. There’s absolutely zero Cajun talk.

They just had Dave Schultz on talking Cajun football followed by an interview with the Lafayette High head football coach. Since they are in Shreveport you are naturally going to get limited Cajun coverage but at least they are making an effort.
This. I spoke with Tim for a little while after recording his segment for the podcast. I can tell you he's trying to get more Cajuns and Lafayette/Acadiana-centric content on the show. He's conscious of the fact that he has to cater to the audience listening on KPEL-AM. Give him some time.
Not only the Goat but that whole family of stations. 96.5 when doing their top of the hour news up dates over the past several weeks Bernie Lee and now Tracy Wertz would refer to our football team as UL Lafayette. I sent them a few emails explaining the athletic branding, saying you are in the building as the flagship station, unless you’ve been under a rock you should know that athletically it is Louisiana. I noticed today Tracy just referred to them as the Ragin Cajuns. They are doing everything possible to avoid calling athletics Louisiana at 96.5.
The name battle is never over. The enemy will never give up.
On the BIG10 broadcast last weekend, they had a few guys in the studio at halftime. The network called us Louisiana. 2 of the 3 studio hosts called us Louisiana. The third guy, freakin' Dinardo, made sure to call us ull.
Tell me you're an ahole without telling me your an ahole.
Not only is the cost of this fight calculated in extra marketing expense. But how far are we set back when others that don't have this fight in essence get free marketing when the powers that be have no problem with their branding. We spend x and they save y, so now that is x+y they get to spend in other areas that give them an edge over us.
Was that Gerry Dinardo that used to coach LSU?
