I'm starting to like parts of the Tim Fletcher show and he is making an effort to include things that Lafayette listeners would be interested in. This additional glitch along with others like dead air time and two commercials running at the same time make it difficult sometimes to continue listening on a regular basis. I understand technical difficulties and human error issues happen but they seem to have way more than other stations. Hopefully these issues can be corrected soon or their viewership will decline from sheer frustration associated with these problems.
With podcasts and satellite radio these days, how many people are still listening to traditional radio? I can't believe that number is very significant. I know I don't. Sports radio is mostly dead to me.

    Very frustrating.

On the other side of the coin, humans have been known to fall asleep on overnight shifts.

Failed automation when there is staff in the building is unacceptable.

Agree with you Turbine. I still like to listen to Billy on Saturday and The Bandit on Sunday but these automation problems are making it tough to stay tuned sometimes.

The old Don and Mike radio show out of WJFK used to play clips of Larry King's nightime radio show when he would fall asleep on air or have incoherent ramblings because he was so tired. Hilarious.

Man I haven’t heard those names in years. I would listen to D&M every day.

Don got fired a few months ago.

He got fired for telling a female sports reporter “Hey look, Barbie’s here. Hi, Barbie girl,” Geronimo said, referring to McBride as she walked past. “I’m guessing she’s a cheerleader.”

I'm surprised he lasted this long. Don is from a different era when people didn't take themselves too seriously and the politically correct virus had not ruined America yet.

Mike O'Meara and Rob still do the TMOS podcast. They are still funny, but Mike is such an east coast lib, that it is hard to listen to him for too long.

Because the W&J Show has to depend on the old W&J brand. They ain’t changing the name of their show to Webster & Johnson.

Kenny Webster is a bore anyway, with an annoying radio voice. John Walton was awesome. Miss that guy.

Coworker’s wife was the loser at the infamous D&M wet tee shirt contest at Grant Street…
