Great interview by Jay with Gerry Glasco. I wish every coach here had Glasco's attitude and expectations. Don't talk to Glasco and expect to hear excuses or low expectations. Every year his expectation is to compete for a national championship.
In this interview he points out that 20 years ago only 15 or so programs really competed with expectations of going to the WCWS, and now there are probably 40 programs which devote the resources to really compete at that level. As long as he is here Louisiana will remain one of those programs.
Thanks Jay, for doing this interview and thanks Coach Glasco for everything you do to keep Cajuns' softball among the elite programs in the nation.
I'm pumped
Coach Glasco is such a Genuine person. He is so "real" in this interview. Geaux Cajuns! Already, I can't wait until February!
Somebody last week as about Texas and A&M needing to come to Lamson. Listen to this interview and you will see they are going to return the favor. This could very well end up being a special season. Geaux Cajuns.
Great interview, thanks Jay. This upcoming season should be special, really looking forward to it.
Glasco gets it man. Not only the x's and o's of softball (if thats what you want to call it) but also the intricacies and importance of recruiting, scheduling, national exposure to keep the Cajuns relevant in today's college softball world. Maggard made some great hires, Glasco may be the best, especially considering the circumstances. 2024 is going to be special.
Glasco is the whole package.
