The State Fair of Louisiana is held each year in Shreveport around the last week of October., Oct 26 - Nov 12 this year.

Texas and Oklahoma play each year at the State Fair of Texas each year in early Oct. in a great rivalry game, The Red River Rivalry.

No one wants LA Tech in the SBC, but I think wouldn't mind playing them each year.

What about creating an annual State Fair of Louisiana game in Shreveport, Louisiana vs LA Tech, and rekindle an old rivalry? Yes, it's in Tech's back yard in Shreveport, but so is the OU v UT game in Texas' back yard in Dallas.

This could be a great game each year and something good for the state other than LSU.

I like the concept of an annual OOC matchup, but when Louisiana finally buckles down and start playing 2&3 for 1s it won't be able to afford this "all-for-none" scenario.

It should rotate though, except the Cajun Heartland Stare fair is in May/June.

In the 80s and before that was the tech vs nwst game every year.

I like the idea of playing every year but make it on rivalry week. The same week as Clemson / So Carolina, Florida / Florida State, Georgia / Georgia Tech……

While creative idea, we need 6 regular season home games at Cajun Field every year especially with stadium reno on the way. In lieu of MAC games, its more profitable playing OOC against latech every year. If latech wants to schedule its home game with us during State Fair in S'port that's great.

We recruit S Arkansas very seriously. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a game here and Shreveport every other year. But definitely not every year in Shreveport.
