We recruit S Arkansas very seriously. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a game here and Shreveport every other year. But definitely not every year in Shreveport.

The State Fair of Louisiana is held each year in Shreveport around the last week of October., Oct 26 - Nov 12 this year.

Texas and Oklahoma play each year at the State Fair of Texas each year in early Oct. in a great rivalry game, The Red River Rivalry.

No one wants LA Tech in the SBC, but I think wouldn't mind playing them each year.

What about creating an annual State Fair of Louisiana game in Shreveport, Louisiana vs LA Tech, and rekindle an old rivalry? Yes, it's in Tech's back yard in Shreveport, but so is the OU v UT game in Texas' back yard in Dallas.

This could be a great game each year and something good for the state other than LSU.

How do you move a State Fair to Lafayette from Shreveport and where would you put it? I wonder if OU initially said "NO" to playing Texas every year in Dallas instead of at Home every other year. Look at what that game has turned into.

You ever been to it? It is perfect for Shreveport and nothing like what we call a festival / fair here. It has a state wide livestock show with a big show barn facility and arena for showing animals. Went several times as a kid with Brangus cattle. Wouldn’t be a good fit here. It’s more like the state fairs you see in Iowa or Dallas…
