And if the right offer comes along for his next coaching gig, he’d be free to move on with our full respect.

Think of it like Arkansas bringing back Bobby Petrino. Strategic. Smart. Proven.

We’d be foolish not to offer this to Napier. He showed up, leaned in, and made it clear he still respects and enjoys being part of the UL community. That kind of connection doesn’t come around often and we’d be wise to act on it.
Can you post this one X(Twitter) so Dr Maggard can see this? After all if he was not hired here by Dr Maggard, then he would not have made those millions he made from Florida. Right?
    This is an excellent point/post.

I think so?! I dont have any ill feelings toward Napier! If anyone in his position would of took the coaches, players etc.. Either way it doesnt matter, all that is, is water under the bridge!

Whether he recommended him or not we made the decision, we need belp!! If we keeping Des then we need to offer some assistance!

Take some of the 500k Savoie is taking to teach his class.

The only thing that always chaps my ass when coaches leave is when they give a ringing endorsement of the coach they left behind and tell us all the reasons why he would make a GREAT head coach!

"I wish I could have taken him with me because he's so good! But... we only had 3 tickets!"

All the Florida fans are saying this could have been avoided if he’d only hired an OC and gave up some of the play calling duties.

    Does this sound familiar?

Two things Napier and Des have in common - both have been head football coach at University of Louisiana and both are Hard Headed M’frs . . .
