Des was SBC coach of the year last year. He has proven to be a great hire especially at the moment of a monumental shift in college athletics and the NIL issues.

And yet the majority here were giddy over the Des hire. LoL! Most important hire in program history...our stock had never been higher....and we hire.......Des. Meanwhile, people here are more focused on where Billy is heading and whether he'll be successful, than they are that our own program is on life support. 3 losing seasons out of 4 and an extension to boot...you know, for more losing seasons. But thank goodness we kept "the culture".

Some of you are hilarious. Apparently Napier sucked as a coach. Judging by these comments, its a complete miracle that we finished in the top 20 twice while he was here. And at the same time giving every ridiculous excuse why Des cant coach his way out of a wet paper bag. Yall sound like a high school girl who got dumped. The delusion is strong.

Napier took our program to heights we all only dreamed of ever reaching. Took us to a place many said could never happen here. And yet, if you read this thread, dude was a terrible coach that got completely lucky in taking us to 2 top 20 finishes. Like he stumbled through his tenure like Mr Magoo where everyone around him was REALLY the reason we did that good. Basically we succeeded at our highest level DESPITE Billy Napier as our coach.

But Des? Sheeeeee! We would've already won a natty if it wasnt for.....*insert 10,000 excuses why its everyone's fault but Des'.

Some of yall need to lay off the sauce, man. There's help out there for you.
