Des was SBC coach of the year last year. He has proven to be a great hire especially at the moment of a monumental shift in college athletics and the NIL issues.

I believe Napier may have supported Des to be HC, but I believe it was all Maggard and T-Joe that thought putting a homegrown inexperienced, unmotivating, weak-recruiting, former player would somehow be successful. But, they were wrong, like many warned from the beginning.
and I guess having to recover from Napier and others raiding pretty much all of the NFL caliber talent on the roster in year one was part of the FLUKE also
you folks are something else with your Napier is God syndrome - except when what he says goes against your agenda
Complete speculation, I don't know why you guys do that. Wooldridge was a very good QB, and transferred here under Napier. You could see he had very good talent from the beginning. The lack of a running game and a good defense was a huge part of the challenges faced by this team. Both need improvement.
