Ironically i thought it was usually g5 that they leave immediately.
Or is it part of the rivalry to try to sabotage ole miss (even thougj its their own conference and own money that would be in the conf distribution)

Napier left Des here. Maggard listened to Napier instead of doing a national search. It was a terrible decision to hire a HC with no college HC experience mainly because we were at the top of the G5 at the time in 2021. Des has had to learn on the job for these last 4 years and it has been painful to watch. Still hoping Des can get this bowl win and 2026 we can get to a SBC championship and win that thing.
