If Coach Des can have a statement year while the Napier experiment ends in Florida, could be very redeeming and a testament to CMD's contributions here his entire tenure. Be uncommon.

This is probably THE window of opportunity year for Des. Even much ballyhooed Texas State looks beatable at times. QB room will be way different next year, just for starters.

I remember one of them telling me, when Napier was being hired, "man, I feel sorry for the guy. . . there isn't a coach in the country gonna succeed here with the cluster@$#! that is Florida athletics." Described it as, worse than Auburn, just more quiet.

I think it'll ultimately be in both Billy and Florida boosters' best interests to quietly come to an agreement on a buyout in order to avoid exposing all the skeletons stuffed in the closet.
