Maybe those 5K people go away thinking they had a good time, and perhaps you build on that. But we can’t do that here.

I recall a couple of schools hosting in state P5s at their place. Which would suggest possibly some outside influence involved in scheduling. Were there any belt schools with an out of state P5 that visited? I don’t recall? No P5 in this state will ever come here.

My point stands, I don't care if it's in state, out of state, or the University of Mars, until we get a P5 (constantly) at CF, home OOC will continue to be bottom of the barrel..like scheduling Whew Mex State...we can and should do better...

I wont argue against the fact that we need a better OOC schedule. I am just saying when you get government influence involved it makes it easier to schedule. My point stands also.

Your point stands only if you have evidence of government interference. Otherwise your point is speculation.

Future schedules have Tulane, tech, rice, Tulsa, and uab coming to Cajun field. Good regional opponents from like conferences.

I can only go by things I have read on fan forums and Sunbelt fan social media outlets. If those fans of the schools are correct then I am correct. If they made it up then I was mislead.

If you get the rep for playing tough schedules you become much more attractive as an opponent and scheduling ultimately becomes easier and better.

    Quality in, quality out.

OOC is definitely the independant portion of the schedule

In 2009 Kansas St came to cajun field and played in front of a crowd of 16,400. What makes you think bringing in a P5 will increase attendance?
