UL Football The number 1 question you can ask any of the prilvaged five

With athletics budget between 80 to 120 way more than Louisiana with all those resources why does P5 schools continue to pillage the G5 schools for players. With having that much of an advantage budget wise you have to steal the smaller schools best players every year.

    P5 schools are talent graveyards.

A developed 2-star will outperform the atrophied 5-star.

So to fix the flaw, they poach the devloped 2-star.

See farm systems in pro baseball.

Seems easy. Who did great at a school or a conference with less $? Slide into the DM.

If P5 schools weren't talent graveyards, there would be zero need to come after former 2-star athletes.

    Correct.

Also I’m pretty sure the P5 and G5 don’t exist. TV networks coined that.

They exist. They actually refered to themselves as the autonomous 5. They told the NCAA exactly what and what it could do about themselves. Ever since then their only fear was being coined as an illegal cartel. That’s why the G5 have one doorway into the coming playoffs.

What I’m saying is simply with all that money and state politics kissing you’re behind. With all those advantages shows that schools like UL and Tulane with limited budgets still able to make top 20 .

And what I would love to see put into the bylaws of NCAA every time they buy a player with a NIL deal that should be one less scholarship that should be taken away from the school that took that player away.

    That’s never going to happen

Only 61% of 5-star players survive to the NFL. Of those who do get drafted, they usually get drafted high.

Nearly 40% of 5-star athletes get buried in the talent graveyards.
