We had 10 drives in the game. We scored on 4 of them.
We were beat on the LOS, badly. A few less mistakes, and a more fairly called game would have helped, but it’s hard to win when you can’t win up front.
Silver lining: no fumbles.
We don’t make halftime adjustments with this staff. That’s what I’ve gathered from the NOLA Bowl vs Marshall to now.
That’s Hud staff 2.0. Not good for long term success.
I want to be wrong. I really do. But I don’t think I am on this observation.
. . . I’m not sure how much weight we could have put on our linemen at halftime but we need to get that fixed . . .
Coulda, shoulda, woulda. Oh well
I thought that a major turning point was the decision to go for it on 4th down at 50 yd line vs punt. Although Minn did not do much when they punted, they flipped the field. We have TO deep in our territory and they score. We never recovered. Lots of other oopses but I don’t think any as big as that series.
Scared money??
. . . I’m fact it’s not scared money but the opposite and the call was the right call . . .
If we had the roster from a couple years ago, we win this game, just like we beat Iowa State.
Minnesota had a size advantage on the line, and they took advantage.
Bottom line, we just got beat. Tip your hat and move on.
