My other purchases, including seating fees for other events and various expenses, cover that $1,200, so I don't technically pay any more than the $1,100. But I understand your point. Second, by purchasing the season pass, I am guaranteed my exact spot. I suggest offering the spots for $200. Once all spots are accounted for, conduct a random draw to assign the remaining spots that way. If you don't like your spot, you won't get your $200 back. This approach makes purchasing the season pass more valuable.
God help us all with these baffoons running Athletics and RCAF....
I have friends that tailgate at LSU for years. The closer to the stadium they are, they are 3 to 4 times more expensive as UL. Also, my son attended the LSU game last weekend against Arkansas in their corporate suite, he had to park over a mile from the stadium because he was a guest. No one at UL is walking a mile from a on stadium site parking or tailgating site.
I get UL needs to be more proactive than reactive when it comes to game promotions, especially with unused tailgating spots. I don't necessarily disagree with some of the suggestions on this thread. But discounting everything is simply a short-term solution to a long-term problem that will presist because of the lack of revenue.
I don't see cheaper tailgating rates here on this link.
