You actually pay more than $ 183.3333333 for your RV spot. You have to contribute a minimum $ 1500 to RCAF and you have to purchase at least 2 season tickets. So if you factor that in your RV spot cost is more than you state.

With that said I also have an RV spot and I think $ 400.00 for a single game spot is a bit high. I appreciate that the Administration is trying to protect the RV Tailgaters. If they charge $ 200.00 for a single game what would keep you & I from just buying single game spots rather than making the $ 1150 commitment prior to the start of the season? I "think" that is their logic. Last Saturday there were 36 RVs on Saturday. So 44 empty spots. I say price'em to fill'em. Whatever it takes to get the lot full.

In other words, we have competition around here that other places in our conferences don't outside of Atlanta and Mobile.
    That’s a fair point.

Have a Friday night Fais Do-Do under the oaks where they do the Saturday bands. And promote RV spots as a two night party.

I know someone on the forum said we were possibly moving to a new ticket provider, so hopefully that rolls out same time as stadium Reno.

It is insane to me how many people in this town still don’t know Cajun Field will be going through renovation.

    Post I saw !!

Ever wonder why UL Lafayette tailgating is not what it was back when we were in college? Ever think about why it is empty today compared
to what it used to be like?

Today I called UL Lafayette to buy a single game RV pass for the Oct 7th home game. The price of this RV pass is 3 times more than what I pay for my RV passes for the LSU games!!! 3 times more!! Even the RV pass at Alabama for the LSU vs Alabama game is less than half of what UL charges. And that is a prime time game!!

My conversation with the UL athletic department continued and the longer the conversation lasted the more I realized the problem. UL is charging so much more for everything compared to the biggest brands in the NCAA and scratching their head as to why the city is not fully supporting them or wondering why there are so few people tailgating. UL Lafayette is in its own way of growth. And that hurts to see.

Yet LSU is right down the road with RV passes on a wait list…. And charging a fraction of the price.

UL is in its own bubble. We stopped tailgating at UL years ago when we had 3 season tailgate spots connected and they jacked up the price 5x in one year on us.

Before and after is below. The second photo was taken on game day……

If anyone wants gumbo, catch me at every home LSU game!

I'm a retard, and even I know that you have to drop prices when there is no demand.

Sad thing is we all been saying it!! I never understood the administration laziness, apathy towards the situation!! We have to push on this website do something and nothing ever gets done! Really UL is the only one suffering from not doing anything about it ! I don’t gain any thing. I throw my ideas out because it could be so much better then what it is.

It’s straight Apathy from the Administrators!

They think if they throw a little fairy dust it will magically change! They have to change how they view the entire situation.

More tailgators means more people into the gates, more fan interaction, I am not saying give up on premium spots, but find a avenue for average, casual fans to tailgate !

I totally get their point but the "after" is also a "before" (morning before) whereas the "before" picture was a "during."

To fix the "before" (morning before) I love this idea
