Coincidentally (perhaps not) LaTech posted some similar job postings for director of ticket operations, and assistant. Wonder if there was some inter-athletic office communication between both universities or their admins.
Hopefully they can bring in some that understand the cULture and change things for the better.
Trey has been working on this since he got here. It is good to see this.
Am I the only one surprised that an organization with an 8 figure athletic budget didn't already have these employees?
I think it has been an ongoing initiative. I remember Dr. Maggard alluding to an outbound sales team (maybe in a pod with Jay?) being put together leading up to the reno of CF.
Probably hard to earmark funds for those positions when you're coming out of COVID operating $6 million in the red...but you gotta spend money to make money and all.
