Win against Minnesota and get our R1 status having university to fix our technical problems like ticket scanners and video board and audio.
Those aren't technical problems, they're people problems...and the ticket scanners are cheap and useless...same with the internet access...its that this school can't afford what it needs...good, smart, competant game day personel along with scanners and internet that works...its a money issue!
Why can't we run internet from the Cox building next to the entrance /s
Unfortunately, the reality of it is poor opponent contributes to poor attendance. No one around here gets excited about playing Tx St. Poor facilities contribute to poor attendance and poor game day experience contributes to poor attendance and it appears nothing is changing anytime soon.
I know CF is "supposed" to begin reno sometime soon but that still remains to be seen.
After the game concert
Texas State bringing fans is a wildcard, but I just don't see where our fans are going to come from..
The problems are still there.
It's 90 degrees
It's a team you've probably never heard of
Your kids will be complaining about the loud music
You probably don't know anyone who still has a tailgate spot
It's inconsequential football on the national stage
and for all of that, it costs $100+drinks/snacks/etc to bring your family of four
to my previous point, all of those negatives don't seem AS NEGATIVE, if the price were half that...
