You guys keep saying this but...

    They're NOT going.

Paying $100 for your family to go versus paying $50 WILL affect how many casual fans (especially families of 4+) show up.

If they're not interested in the match up, then you have to sell them on "a day at Cajun Field".. and you don't do that with $20 tickets, $6 hotdogs, and super expensive tailgating

How about a free post-game concert at midfield. Get Better than Ezra or cowboy mouth or some other washed up 90s band that all the white MILFs love. That should do it.

App just put field level seats call The Rock Garden on sale, next 4 home games.
    . $150 each a game...

App has an actual fanbase that makes me jealous.

Yes, but they have no other sports to boast about or that people in Boone want to see. Football is really all they have. It's a good thing that they have such a good football following, but it's not always greener when it comes to overall athletics.

That’s not a bad idea. Promote the area football teams to come to the game. From West St. Mary to North Central and from Cecilia to Iota

    It's all that matters

As others have said, beating Minnesota on the road is not going to suddenly have casuals saying: "dang they beat Minnesota!? Who they play this week!? Oh Texas State.. sweet lemme drop $100 on tickets for my family.. wonder if I know anyone who still has a tailgate spot......"

Now if they beat Minnesota they'll be on the news and in people's conversations, and THATS when you drop the "yeah and they're offering cheap tickets this weekend and a concert at CF before the game"
    A win will help.

The non-casuals will be more upbeat and this alone will influence their casual fan friends.

    1. Social media blitz
    2. Traditional media blitz (Local TV news appearances/terrestrial radio appearances)
    3. $10 GA tickets (push Cajundome Box Office early and often to avoid fees)
    4. On-campus promotions (signs, SGA engagement, social media like Volleyball asking trivia questions)
    5. Word of mouth advertising among admin/fans (bring one extra person with you)
    6. Promote YRCC (surprised how many of my family-aged friends aren't aware)
    7. Utilize partners in the community with large online presence (Downtown Lafayette, Developing Lafayette, etc) to get the word out

    Moderately difficult (requires additional people/planning)
    ---------
    1. $20 first-come-first-serve general admission parking inside CF
    2. First-come-first-serve $45 tailgate spots at Blackham with free parking (fee goes towards porta potties) /w Cajundome BLVD shuttle
    3. Pick a loss leader on concessions menu and promote it ($1 hotdogs instead of $6?)
    4. Offer free tickets/swag to people running for local public office (mayoral candidates, city/parish councils, school board, tax assessors, etc.) TSAB is away, so most will be in town hungry to shake-hands and make their presence known via social media

Requires long-term planning (possibly already in the works with renovated stadium?)
    ---------
    1. RFID POS system (Festival International does it)
    2. Overhaul tailgate rules (how can we fill it back up? Costs, locations, reduction in perks? tiered options? (trash pick-up, porta-potty wrist bands, etc.))
The one line that defines cajun fans. “Shuttle from Blackham to cajun field”. Folks at App, So Miss and Troy would celebrate a spot as close to the field as Blackham for free. And wouldn't complain once about the walk.
