Agree F Coastal Chickens!
I too can never pull for them.
20-10 GSU going to the 4th with the lead and the ball.
McCall should have entered the draft a year or so back when his name was pretty much known. Hasn’t impressed tonight.
27-10 GAST.
GA STATE SCORES AGAIN... F BEACH CHICKENS
GAST with impeccable timing. Just in time for that AAC invite that’s coming.
Georgia State is a good football team this year, I have been saying that for a while now. This is not going to be an easy game, they have maybe the best offense in the conference right now and a QB that is playing better than any QB in the league right now and their defense is as good as ours in the way they fly to the football.
Their schedule is about to get rough, but if last night is any indication, they are a pretty solid team. Here is their upcoming schedule:
Home vs Troy
Home vs Marshall
Away vs Louisiana
Away vs Georgia Southern
Home vs JMU
Home vs App
Away vs LSU
Away vs ODU
Not one easy game on this schedule, but getting Troy, Marshall, JMU and App at home really helps.
Troy was suspected to win the west, Marshall was suspected to contend for the east, UL was suspected to be in the top half of the west, Georgia Southern is a rivalry game, JMU might be the best team in the conference, App was suspected to contend for the east and is playing very well right now, LSU is a Top 25 team and we all think that ODU is much better than we thought when the season started.
They don't have an easy game left, but they also could win every one of them with maybe the exception of LSU.
I have two issues with CCU, and really they're both the same issue.
The first is that they do no research. They have no interest in that whatsoever.
The second is they appear to simply be a front for a sports program-- yes, one that is lavishly funded, they have an NC in baseball, they have had a lot of success in other sports.
But I want to be in a conference with schools that share our priorities. And I can't see that CCU does that.
