. . . some just worry about their caps . . . or not . . .
I can't believe I just read this entire thread! But after doing so, I have decide there is only one solution to this fiasco created by MH. #1 - Immediately terminate the individual (whatever her name is) responsible for this insanity. #2 - Replace her with an individual that is willing to revive the panty raid tradition and is willing to lead the charge!
It's time to return some normalcy to the college experience.
This whole issue is somewhat misguided because everyone is focused on the Greeks getting screwed.. but it's the entire underclass student body that's getting jobbed.
The school wants every student to go inside the stadium and do their drinking, assuming the underclassmen are 21....for liability reasons ...
So they all go to freakin Marleys
There were actually more students than I thought would go to the game. Thank you to the students that attended. Keep it up!!!
. . . when I graduated from USL with an accounting degree, I was under 21 years of age and there are lots of things that may or may not have occurred during my college experience which I don’t remember . . . all in all, I believe I have done pretty good for myself with my USL degree . . . its time we go back to the student atmosphere which was in existence back then and remove the responsibility for morality away from the university and UP for students just as it is for all other adults participating as fans in university athletic events . . . why should there be special rules there applying solely to students which are not otherwise out in society which apply to the same class of people . . .

Looking at this, it appears that during Family Days may be one of the only times that students under the legal drinking age of 21 could under applicable Louisiana laws legally possess and drink alcohol on campus and during university sporting events . . .
