So “Family Day” is being used as a reason…but I have a question.

Should we want EVERY home game to be “Family Day” at Cajun Field? Shouldn’t we want entire families showing up all 6 games a season?

And if so, then what good does this one Saturday promotion really do, and especially what good does it do if you trying to hide the “ugliness” of the Greek orgs for just that one day?

And don’t some of the Greeks have families too that show up at Cajun Field? Maybe some more than just this one Saturday per season.

There's no logic behind their use of Family Weekend as an excuse. So what happens against Texas State on October 7th? Things go back to normal? What if families show up that weekend?

The way the administration is handling this is head scratching.

Never said I agree with it. Just pointed it out and offered solutions. However, some people don't want solutions they just want to rail against the admin.

The solution should be to leave the students alone. When their "Plan B" gets sabotaged by closing down the Greek houses, at that point that's not on the students if they don't show up to the game.

How am I shilling for the admin? Just summarizing what's going on from all the posts here and on social media. I never once said I agree with what they're doing, I've offered suggestions on how to get around it but nobody wants to hear that. Can't have it their way, so they take their ball and go home. Fact is...

Once again why doesn't the administration support the students? Anyone that is saying that I am backing Coach Chris on this is stupid. Friends with him personally as I am with others against him on this thread. If anyone reads my post they would see that I am questioning him.

Solution: Don't create problems that didn't exist in the first place, and then blame the students for said problems.

.... We had a great student turnout for our first game and now this. We CANNOT afford these types of mistakes. The students and frats/sororities are your future alumni supporters and donors which we need more than ever.

Congrats on killing the excitement and energy of Zeon Chriss's first start.

I said it before the season. I thought we were on the precipice of a revival of the Louisiana football fan base. I also said that the one thing we couldn't have happen was for Martin Hall to screw it up. Well, we have a great student turnout, a high scoring team at the beginning of a run and a QB that has everyone giddy with the possibilities, and what do they do?

Out of the blue, here comes Martin Hall, doing what they do best.
