So they plan to enforce the rules that were already in place and agreed to by the students. Whether we agree with the rules or not, that what is sounds like is happening.
How do you figure that the students agreed to those rules? Also, why wait this long to enforce them? It's selective enforcement and they're doing it for no other reason than to exert unnecessary control. It's a flex and a big middle finger to the students.
Just pointing out why the University is worried about liability on campus property. Some people are looking at this with blinders. Anyone who looks from the outside in to see both sides is a "boot licker".
