My take is to be creative when they show up. Still play the drinking games, just not ones that take a table. Same thing I said from the beginning.

You haven’t given us your take on kids that can’t go to a house they pay the note on, dues for and some live there. That is the bigger issue the organizations are having.

Does our “Dean of Greeks” even care about or watch football? I’d have to guess/assume NO if policies being rolled out are in contrast to the enthusiasm Coach Dez is trying to bring from the students at Cajun Field.

All this started decades ago when we moved to the dome. The student section was still behind the visitors, but the new accessory was two UP officers. Once the Fossil saw how to intimidate students, the model was set. Hire someone that crushed Greeks elsewhere, the "outsider" can be the bad guy.

Watching WVA and Pitt this weekend, Sweet Caroline was very interesting. That happen at CF...heads would explode. NSFW, not posting.

Heidie Lindsey is the person. She is not to fond of fraternities and sororities.

Yet she continues to apply for jobs where she is in charge of Greek life.

When I make the comment that the biggest problem this university has is the disconnect it has with the population it serves due to it having an ideology completely at odds with the population it serves, this is a perfect example of that.

Correct when I was in school Dean Blanco was the VP of student affairs and Dean Ed Pratt was directly over fraternities. They knew who we were and how we were raised.

But the whole issue is what is beer pong going to do? You can have a bunch of drunk yahoos right down the walkway playing it but the college kids can't? LOL

Actually the college students not a part of the Greek system can play, just not the ones under the Greek TG tents.

If MH wants to avoid any bad alcohol related incidents and Reinhardt Dr. needs the students, we probably need to implement something pitched by Esqueleto earlier in a first come first serve tailgating area that students can use in an unofficial capacity, giving MH some plausible deniability.

Now the frat row housing game day eviction, no win/win for that. That’s just dumb.

I guess the bigger question is Why? At least explain to the students why this is disallowed. Communication. Transparency. I just have trouble understanding what different trouble or law can be broken by college kids playing beer pong at the tailgate.

As someone who lived in a Fraternity house for 4 semesters and pre and post gamed after every football game in the house and many basketball games too, I can say with out a doubt there is no good reason. I lived it, I know. The only reason is they are 2 no fun b!+(he$ that are treating college students like middle schoolers.
