Elijah just needs to bide his time and stay healthy and get out from under his ridiculous 6th round rookie contract when the time comes. Hopefully with another team.

Had NIL been around for Eli we probably wouldn't have had him all of his college years. And he definitely would have been a higher draft choice from a bigger school. Sad but true.

Saints drafted a player from the university of Regina in Canada, second round. They, at the time, said he should have been drafted in round one.

Speaking of Olav, not only first round but they traded up to get him. Go figure except the Saints have faith in Ohio State players. They have often picked OSU players very high in their past. They have several good players from that school presently.

McCaffery got injured in the game vs the Redskins today. The Erath Prophet stepped in and ran for 80 yards on 17 carries with a TD. 49ers won 27-10.

Depending on McCaffery’s injury, the 49ers may have to lean on Mitchell a bit for their post season run. Hope he can stay healthy and contribute when called upon.
