Wednesday will be interesting when the depth chart comes out. Wiser back, if it is the case will be huge and I thought that Mason Narcisse played well coming back as well. But what in the world got into Cameron Whitfield, that young man had 2.5 sacks and was all over the backfield.

It was. I hated that it happened to him, but if he is going to be out for 1/2 a game, I think I prefer it be Buffalo. Defense seems pretty healthy overall, offense has had a few guys up and down with injury. Robert Williams, Dre'lyn Washington, George Jackson, Quinton Williams, who should be back.

I think outside of Jax Harrington and Ben, we should be pretty healthy for this game.

Harvey and Robert at WR are going to be a deadly combination for a while, as long as they don't get poached.

Finally, I am assuming no new update on LL2?

One more player that needs to be praised. Big shoutout to Kendre' Gant. I did not know what to expect from this young man this season and he has had some big shoes to fill at LB. The young man has 16 tackles on the season (that is more than he had last year all season), 3 TFL, 2 Sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 recovered fumble.

There are many others, but he has stood out in a number of ways.

I wanted him to play period. if you don't understand what I wrote then go back & reread they thread. I can see a UL education isn't worth very much when it comes to reading retention.

Coach Dez addressed the possibility of Zeon Chriss playing another position at last week's QB Club. Answer was it is not even a consideration. Reason is he was being groomed to be starter next season. Believe it or not, his skill set does not necessarily translate to another position. He has not played another position at any point in his football career. Time spent training him for another position is time lost in preparing him to be the quarterback here. Usually I don't share QB Club info but I thought it was OK in this situation. Note, these comments were made prior to Ben getting hurt.

What they saw from Ben in summer and August practice was leadership. There is no question the team looks upon him as their leader. Now he will continue to do that as he comes back from injury

I agree with most of what you posted, but starting someone just because they will probably be your future starter just doesn’t make sense to me. You start the player that gives you the best opportunity to win this game and this season.

Now, does that mean ZC wasn’t the better option, no it doesn’t. I’m just stating how I don’t believe in that strategy at all.

Also, there is one thing I am certain about. Coach Des wants to win. He is not going to start the 22 players he feels gives him the best shot to do that.

Context. You missed the context of what I said and oversimplified it. I didn't say you just start someone because they are your future. I said if they are even close, you start the guy who is your future. I said, you start the guy who is your future, UNLESS,the other guy is just leaps and bounds better. But he isnt.
