. . . mr. hindsight strikes again . . . looking back to talk to friends about the game does not constitute starring at anybody except if you are at the game to focus on your ___ which is exactly what you are demonstrating . . . break it off dude, nobody it interested in your non-Cajun fetiches . . .
Well Phil Steele had UAB way down and was meh about Buffalo. Texas St was largely an unknown with new staff and tons of transfers. Yea, they beat Baylor but they've been suspect since. USA got stomped in Yulman but hammered Okie St. Odd team so far.
Every year, some teams are better than expected and some teams falter. That's nothing new. To this point, we've played bad teams. And on paper, going forward, the schedule largely doesn't perk up, with the exception of 2 or 3 games. I'm not saying anything that hasn't been discussed here before. I'm not sure why you're belaboring the point...
That surprises me. I was listening to a preseason pod where he was talking about the MAC and was very tepid on Buffalo.
Georgia St is 3-0 against teams with a combined 1-5 record and struggled to escape with a win against FCS Rhode Island. For me, its the same old GSU football program. Shows glimpses offensively, but will never last. ULM did beat Army, but are we really worried about ULM? They struggled last week with Lamar.
I just remembered Minnesota game. Personally, Minn / South Al / Southern Miss are the games that interest me. Troy seems to have taken a step back as well and while I'm interested in watching the Cajuns play Finley, to this point, I still think we have better personnel and should win the game.
We will get a chance to see what GSU is made of Thursday as they play the covid chickens.
IMO, only Arky State is a really bad team on our schedule. All the others have a chance to beat us but that's why we play the games.
I knew Buffalo would be a crapshoot. They are always a team that can either be better than average and go to a ball game or complete crap. It appears this year. They are complete crap. That being said we still have to go out and beat them. The games of interest to me are a much improved Texas State team. Troy on the road which could be a struggle, southern mess and a really good USA team, all that being said, there is not a game on the schedule that we should lose and there’s also almost every game on this cat schedule that we could lose. If we play to our ability, we should be in every game that we play with the exception of South Alabama and Minnesota being teams that may have better personnel , but again, you still have to play the game as we found out last year against race UL M, as well as others.
