In Tyler Brown’s appeal, he opened up publicly about mental health issues he has dealt with for years. Evidently him and Coach Looney were very close and Looney served as father figure to him.

His appeal is very emotional. Personally I’m pulling for him.

It sucks we lost him. He is a future nfl player IMO

Why wouldn't you make the application or appeal while at first year at Jackson state and either get reset to zero or not. Rather than waiting to appeal only after deciding to Transfer again.

P.s. there was no requirement before to sit out when transferring from fbs to fcs anyhow.
That is the crux of the reasoning behind making fcs teams not eligible for postseason when the move to from fcs to fbs

Idk for sure but probably can't start appeal when it wasn't needed at the time.

I think the issue at Jackson State was when his coaching staff left. He had found another close coaching relationship that he didn’t want to lose when his coaching staff moved on

He had multiple P5 offers after leaving here but went to Jackson State because of Deion and Jackson is his hometown. He likely wouldn’t have left there if coaching staff had stayed

Brown was Dotson and Torrence’s primary backup while he was here. Dotson and Torrence ended up being 1st all Americans and Brown was an FCS All American last year. We had some serious O line talent in recent years

Prime explained why the players flocked to him at Colorado. They got NIL, and Coach Prime. They’re not typical.

You hit the nail on the head related to discontent amongst posters here.

CBN and staff did a heck of a job with developing OL guys here. As fans, we miss the “we’re jamming the ball down your throat” drives and 4th down plays and everyone knew it would be successful.
