Sandalwood on the bayou side was there in the late 50’s, just before Morbraham. Evergreen came in mid to late 60’s. “Dead Man Walking” murders were down the road toward Loreauville, somewhere near the roundabout area if I remember correctly.

You’re right, it’s pretty much developed now, Belle Chase Elementary the draw for development.

His coaching level is about where Hud is now. A High school coach collecting 700k a year..ride it while he can

Way to disparage a head coach that won us our first bowl game ever. Once upon a time before our fanbase got tired of going to the same bowl, we had never won one.

Isn't Hud coaching at Gulf Shores high ?

    Situational not capability.

We know Hud's current location doesn't define his, ability, and frankly I think Desormeaux is much more qualified than being a high school coach.

BI Moody was one of the last from that era after transfering from Auburn.

    Not many left.

And that is UL’s problem. The donors like the large ones Moody, Lamsom, Heymann to smaller donors like Frenchie who was faithful with time and money have passed away. I’m sure I missed a few. But the replacement rate needs to be greater than the loss.

True. Most of the fan base is old, bald, and gray.
