Excellent life advice. That was definitely something I had to learn coming of age.

Very true. However, in the long run things will work in your favor more often than not if your preparation is performed in the correct manner. Conversely, occasionally you may get lucky by taking short cuts. In the long run, you will be disappointed more times than not by taking the short cut approach.

I don’t think any one on this forum is pulling against Des. Him being a Cajun and truly being home, having the kind of success Robe had would be great for him and the university. I’ve said before I hope he’s the winningest coach of all time here.

Those were coaches that Napier brought in from his previous coaching connections.

One of the concerns with Des was whether he had his own network of coaches to pull from. It’s up to him to build his own staff. Hopefully he is successful in that regard
