I would have never personally picked the first car I ever owned.
Once it was mine I did everthing I could to improve it and now it hosts some of my favorite memories.
I still would have never picked it on my own.
. . . just goes to show you that sometimes you need help to find a great thing . . . CMD may be the same if given a chance . . . what is happening on this board right now in the heart of the season is purely disgusting . . .
Who was knocking on Billy's door before we came calling? No one, that's who. He was the offensive coordinator at Arizona, who had just fired its head coach and hired Herman Edwards. As to would anyone else have hired Mike, you are damn straight they would. Tim Rebowe had no experience as a college coordinator and was only a position coach before taking the job at Nichols.
Mike is one of our own, and it is time for some of you to get over it. Two threads and countless blah, blah, blah, and buts.
Billy had way more experience than Mike, not even close. So we are following the Nichols -FCS- blue print are we? I will always support UL( have been for over 50 years) and Mike, but as many said, I still think
it was the wrong hire, would not been hired at any other FBS school.
What people don't understand is that Mike is smarter than the rest of the coaching pool, not because of his college experience or his UL degree, it is because of the high school he went to that makes him better than the rest of the candidates. GO BIG RED.
You're right. I don't support this university, the coach, or the program. I just waste a lot of time, energy and money on it. I'm just a masochist. By the way, speaking of supporting the coach and the program...when was the last football game you went to again? Remind us. Oh that's right......you don't even go.
Why do you hate Dez so much, man? Harsh.
