Thread: Saints shafted....

    Default Saints shafted....

Just read an article about an interview Payton had with ESPN, Seth Wickersham and found this statement within the article.

"A study of penalties committed against each team in the prior four seasons showed that the Saints ranked 30th, 31st, 32nd, and 32nd in penalties called against their opponents. If it’s happenstance, it’s an extreme statistical rarity."

As a lifelong Saints fan, this ____es me off to no end!

It ain't necessarily what IS called, but what ain't called.

Also, I think that teams typically experienced more first downs by penalty when they played the Saints than what they typically averaged in other games.

This is all Sean Payton’s fault.

Definitely played a part in it, but also the Def. Coord. didn't help matters either.

Science is not a conspiracy- not me

"the results revealed that teams with black uniforms were penalized more than teams with non-black uniforms."
