Nice quote
“I think when you look at any of the top universities around student experience, it’s about academics first and foremost. We’ve done a really good job of investing significantly in our academic side of the equation,” said Richard Sobieray, USF’s chief financial officer. “Now, it’s time for us to do the same thing for our athletics.”
So you don't need a new stadium to get the call for p5, get the call then say you will build it
But they’re going to be ready just like UH was.
I believe except in an incredible example movement to the P4 is over. I don’t believe the PAC 2 can hold onto it’s P5 status with the G 5 teams available.
If anything autonomous 4 may be culling their P4 members who aren’t bringing enough to the TV table
USF was founded in 1956 and is already an AAU institution. No law school and no med school. 2 branch campuses with a total of over 50,000 students. It's accomplishments are pretty impressive for such a young school.
Research is at the center of the student and faculty experience here at the University of South Florida. Really are y’all comparing the state of Louisiana to Florida and Texas in growing their universities. I’m very proud of what we accomplished especially considering how much the politicians interfere. This is still Louisiana folks.
