Probably someone keeps the old time political enemies list. What they’re going to do? Not sell someone tickets? Ban people? Double secret probation?
There is absolutely nothing to gain for UL. If they worry about people hurting the athletic department with internet opinions on a message board, the university is in trouble. Junior high mentality.
. . . look at RP . . . their fans hate their university . . . confirmed . . . and darn proud of their hate . . .
I do recall in another thread that people where saying follow "State Law" and quit complaining about not being able to b-cue. Funny in the article it says, "A statewide burn ban remains in effect."
Another example of top down excess. Rather than allowing each parish or community to set up a ban or not, a central decision is made without any consideration of local conditions. There are parts of SE LA that yards can’t be cut because it’s too soggy. Other parts of state it makes perfect sense to not have hazardous fires.
The state and federal govt should be helping not mandating in most cases.
It was silly to not be able to grill at Cajun Field. What would burn? Southern may be worried about the large grass expanse used for tailgating. That’s their call. Good for them.
. . . I’m from the government and I’m here to help you . . .
