Probably because I copied it from my lusfiber email site. Let me try to get Ross to send it in a different format.

Note we uploaded a photo of event brochure in original post. Contact data to get more information is as follows.

    Website- www.kreweallons.com
    Email - johnaiken@kreweallons.com
    Phone No. - 337 292 6265 (John Aiken Number)

This is an NIL collective function. As brochure states, some of funds raised will go to men’s basketball players. Belief is that this will approximate 80 percent of funds raised. Of course there are expenses for such an event.
Note, to make the event follow NIL guidelines, players will serve in roles such as wait staff. For all I know they may involved as cooks.

Thanks for sharing Mike. Just to add on to your post this is the first fundraiser for the new NIL collective for all sports. Basketball just happens to be first. It’s imperative that our fans get behind this thing and support it as much as we can. We need to make this thing as big as possible in order to compete with our peers. People like to complain about players like Kam P and Dante Fleming choosing to transfer to Tulane. The cotton bowl had little to do with one of them going there. It was a matter of money that Tulane offered. And it wasn’t much AT ALL. There will be some big names at this event and people are getting behind it. Every little bit helps.

What I am most encouraged about here is getting ex players involved in promoting the event.

everyone on here says they want UL to succeed and compete year in and year out in sports, well now is your time to step up and donate to make us one of the best G5 in the country. Like it or not, we need this collective to recruit and retain top talent.

    Agreed e!!!!!

I know someone who is part of this collective on the board and I can assure you this collective is in good hands, not the guy that I am talking about, but the others on this committee.

How did a former McNeese MBB head coach wind up creating the first Cajun collective? Would like to hear that story. Can anyone vouch for him before sending $$$ that way?

I can, this is what he does now, he is no longer coaching. He has worked on a number of collectives including McNeese's, but others as well including Southern Miss.
