Well said. CF also had his chance as a starter. As I remember, he was eventually benched for BW. Before the start of that season, I was in CF's corner. I thought he was the best QB on the field. Every time he came in to relieve Levi, he came in slinging the ball and moving the offense. Again, even though his playing time was on a very limited basis, he appeared to be ready to go and had a full grasp of the offense. Fast forward to the following year after Levi had graduated, CF was named the starting QB. I was on his band wagon. However, in all the games he played, he looked like a deer in headlights, who didn't have a clue of how to run the offense nor a command of the offensive playbook. So, I was wrong about CF. I knew after BW was injured and CF started the bowl game, the chances of winning were slim to none. CF is not a college QB. And I hope we don't have to go through that again.

CF was named starter but was he really? Opening game they already started switching CF out every 3rd series to put in BW. So how’s momentum ever in one persons favor? How does your teammates settle in? If I recall he wasn’t benched, he was injured and BW went in relief for the “so called” starter. Who does that as a coach if you are trying to establish rhythm and consistency. None of the QBs get that opportunity without getting full game reps. If you look at both CF and BW stats and combine them they are probably top QBs in country. My point being, it should have never been alternating of QBs last year. That was the ultimate fail.

I have made a few comments during the summer about Ben's accuracy and how it needed improvement. Last game was awful. However, I think there was something either physical or mental at play with how he was passing and it wasn't even up to his standard.
So, in saying this, I think Ben will play better tonight, and he is the right starter for the Cajuns at this point.

He had a few videos showing him doing barbell squats, power cleans, etc. BW hitting the weights this summer looks to have paid off into a starter spot.
