He wasn't perfect by any stretch but his teammates dropped a lot of balls and even with that he still threw three tds and ran for another. I'll take that over many qbs that have been here.

I gave you the starting example of a Super Bowl quarterback, whom " reliable of sources" at the time wrongly deemed him not yet ready.

Except your example is flawed.

They knew Jake was their best quarterback. The only reason he didn't start from the get-go was he was 6-3 and about 170 lbs. They wanted to redshirt him because of that, not because they didn't think he was ready to play.

Again, I'm not talking about ZC coming in to get experience I am talking about him coming in to change/shake things up only if needed. CF got enough snaps last year to be able to come in if Ben gets injured. Bottom line this is Ben's team I think we can both agree on that.
