He’ll get over $30 million if they fire him after this season. A little less if they fire him after next season.

Lyn Burton reported some Napier contract info this morning on 103.3 The GOAT. His report states Coach Napier is owed 34 million if fired after this season. 50 percent is owed within 30 days of the release. Most interesting aspect is he is owed the entire amount even if he finds another job. Billy Napier will be at Florida through 2024

Well they needed a complete roster overhaul. They have zero discipline. Plus I think their AD is setting him up for failure.

Why do you think their AD is setting him up for failure? He fully funded Napier's plan for Florida.

He’s taking over a program that was in shambles. The roster was void of elite talent. A lack of discipline and no real identity. It will take at least 3 recruiting classes to show some improvement.

They also have top 10 hardest schedules in the country for this year.

He waited for the right job, apparently this was the right job for Napier. Seems like if he was setup to fail that would be on him not the AD. He knew what he was walking into. His contract also shows long-term commitment ($32 million buyout), whether that happens or not we'll have to wait and see.

Napier will be fine at UF. It's a complete rebuild. Class of '24 recruiting is top 3 in the country thus far. It takes a few years. Mullen left the cupboard very bare of talent. It's the opposite situation that Urban Meyer arrived to after Zook recruited 3 in a row top 3 recruiting classes.
