Default It's OfficialStanford, Cal and SMU to the ACC.

What happens to the rest of the PAC.

I read that the AAC is pushing hard for Oregon State and Wazzou. I think their best bet would be MWC if they can't force their way into the Big 12.

Wazzu and OSU should keep the PAC 12 brand. Then add programs from the MWC and AAC.

    From the MWC:
    SDSU
    Fresno
    Nevada
    UNLV
    Boise
    Utah St
    Colorado St
    New Mexico

    From the AAC:
    Tulane
    Memphis

This would be best case scenario for Pac and would almost certainly secure the 5th best conference status

I don't think so. They are now part of the G6 regardless of the name of the conference. It's exactly what the big boys were gunning for.

I agree they will be part of "G whatever" but still the 5th best conference which is what will be important for playoff. Similar to what AAC has been for past 10 years.of course who knows what this does for MWC leftovers

    SEC
    BIG 10
    ACC
    BIG 12

    PAC
    Sunbelt
    AAC
    CUSA

    MWC Dead

I know I'm a novice when it comes to giving an opinion and being in the know.but the more I see these stories, the more I thank GOD for the Sunbelt. These big conferences make NO geographical sense.

Said the same thing to some work friends this week when we were talking football. 10 years ago would you have thought the Belt would have nailed it on all this realignment stuff? At least up until this point. We may add the University of Alaska Northwest Campus out of Nome for all we know.

ACC with a 2-team PCC division. Make it make sense to me.

SMU finally bought their way into a P5 conference.
