We have a rivalry with Tech in football and basketball. We don't have a rivalry with ULM. The only reason to hate Tech has been their fans refusal to acknowledge us as Louisiana. That can be overcome with an invitation to join the conference.

A USM guy had an interesting prediction. In a few years, Memphis and ECU will join the SBC. The SBC will do a GOR with ESPN for a media deal of 4 to 5 mill/yr per school and we’ll all sit back and watch the rest of the college football world burn.
