Signs on campus are the roots to creating an atmosphere that extends to the event itself
Walking toward quad from intersection of St.Mary and Rex? was straight up signage row. It didn't matter what it was about, you still saw it and so did everybody else. The most high traffic area on campus. Vote for ......., Save the Whales, Nuke the Whales, LOUISIANA SATURDAY NIGHT CAJUNS FOOTBALL.
Like I said in every other thread. We don’t have fans because the administration, NOT the Athletic Department, won’t do crap to get the students involved. They view athletics as a necessary evil. Not an asset that can be used to recruit better and more students.
For a bunch of smart people, we are run by ____ing Reeetards.
Just saw this footer as KATC (just like KADN) talk about “the Cajun Field”. Something is afoot against “Louisiana” usage.
Trying to predict the angle the few who always have to defend the admins will have on this one:
a. Signs are too expensive
b. We are short staffed
c. This isn’t a big deal
d. All promotions are being done online/social media
e. Students won’t turn out anyway
The only limit to our excuses is our own imaginations. Dream big, nuthuggers.
It is Labor Day weekend...most dorm students will be OOT
What if a group of liberal arts students see the flyers, become disgruntled that the university is advertising the football game and not their basket weaving convention, and decide to burn them. Boom. Burn ban violation. Huge fines. All capital advancement projects are put on hold. Better to play this one safe.
