I just walked through most of the central part of campus, from the parking tower to class, then to the subway and the library, and I saw no mention of a game on Saturday.

I know they promote on social media and I'm sure in other ways. But I never understood not investing simple, disposable lawn signs with athletics information on them. Or even "Football this Saturday. Students get in free." That's super affordable and goes a long way.
I would hope they do mass text promotions for stuff like this.
. . . they could hire JMV . . . he is a texter . . .
I wonder if they send out mass emails to students. Wouldn't know because UL doesn't allow alumni to keep their university emails after graduation like other universities. You know how cheap data storage is?
Would be cool if Alumni Association offered @louisiana.edu emails back to alumni for yearly membership. I know I just went off the rails but I said what I said.
I am a grad student and we have not gotten a text nor email to this point.
Back when sidewalks were used as bulletin boards.
And THIS is why our fans get frustrated. How hard is it to get a bunch of signs and flyers to promote our football game? Does it really cost THAT much?
We let low hanging fruit rot one too many times.
Btw, heard from a good source that Freshman can now attend the student tailgate on Saturday because of……wait for it……THE RP THREAD.
Barstool Cajuns is now reporting technical difficulties with student tickets. Lol
