Anytime you can pull a person from a staff at a traditional SEC powerhouse and put them in the exact same position, then it is a win for UL softball. This is a team that has multiple National titles, multiple WCWS appearances and has not missed the tournament since 2001. We did not hire some up and coming person at an SEC school, we hired their director of softball operations to the same position at UL, I call that a big time hire. Before her 2 seasons as director of softball operations at aTm, she was also the same position for the men's and women's golf program at aTm. She is familiar with big time athletics on a national scale.
Sure Troy,
Per Glasco: Her background will allow us to utilize her to help us grow our program into the future."
Per JMV: Hunter has worked in the athletic department at Texas A&M and Florida St. Florida St. has won national titles so I am sure she can bring her big time experience from those national powerhouse program to the UL program to make the program better. The Cajuns lost the former director of operations (chief of staff) , Ashley is now the director of operations for Olympic sports in Colorado. This is an important hire for the program. Not just anybody can do this position. Glasco killed two birds with one stone on this package hire. Geaux Cajuns
