No LOUISIANA for Cheer Team

The Louisiana “first down” cheer is one of the only unified chants we have as fans. I like it! I brought a family member to a football game years ago and they couldn’t stop talking about it.

We have other 1, 2, & 3rd down chants from the band & cheerleaders, but no one says them. The cheerleaders need to teach them to the freshman at convocation and the fans outside the stadium before the game. We can act big time and support our team!

FYI, the following is a direct quote from Kalyn Voisin. I say we should give her the benefit of the doubt and back off until we see for ourselves. I don't know her but based on the several replies I received, she genuinely sounds sincere.

That is why I said, can we get more information before we publicly bash this poor lady. I don't know her from Adam, but my daughter attended one of the UL Stunt Cheer Camps and said everyone was super nice and supportive, both coaches and athletes.

We have a tendency on this forum to jump to conclusions before all the facts are out there.

Now that is funny, because one of my daughters is "Evie" (Emily Eve, but we call her Evie) but it was actually the oldest daughter, Riley that met her, so I know her from Riley doesn't make as much sense.

I don't think its a sponsor gripe.

The radio announcement and the stadium announcement are two similar yet different things.
