Ask me again week 4-5 of the football season. I'll say it once again, I wanna know if the SBC's giant-killing spree last season was a one-time fluke, or if we're for real.
Fluke? The SBC has the most non-conference road wins vs. P5 teams over the last five years! And that’s including all 10 FBS conferences, P5 and G5.

. . . I said, when the most likely candidate for movement in your league is a 35 point underdog on opening day and is a candidate for movement into a conference we don’t even want to be in, any talks about Louisiana moving to a P5 is about as relevant as talking about LSU . . .

I somewhat compare this situation to our athletes portaling out to other schools. Dez preaches to have faith in the culture. We see but don't believe, in the SBC.

I personally, think we are in the best position we can be in.

    No. We should not go

If everyone can be on espn+ at the same time why does it still lead to time changes?

P.s. how much do we get from espn+ per subscription?

Time can change opinions but currently I'm not a huge fan of the ACC

Yeah, the sunbelt is home to the Cajuns. Regional games with our peers.

Not disagreeing. Just would like to hear your reasoning.

I look at it as deciding between playing Arkansas State, ULM,Texas State or Memphis, Tulane, Rice. Deciding between playing in the Top, Overall G5 conference or a rising, good G5 conference.

But is it now really the top G5? I just don’t think it is. Not much separation between the SBC/AAC/MW.

There is no doubt the AAC has been the Top G5 in ALL major sports for several years. Now, the next few years will tell everything. We have added a few good programs, and they have lost a few good programs. WE shall see.

The rubber will meet the road when they have to do a new media deal. I think there will be a lot of inertia then to recreate an eastern "best of" conference to rival the new MWC. Neither the AAC nor the SBC are designed for that right now.
